Active K9 Wirral is owned and run by long time dog fanatic Jo Town. 
Jo has owned and handled dogs from a very early age and was born into a very dog orientated family.
Growing up Jo regularly handled and attended training of her fathers working gun dogs. It was here her passion for both handling dogs and training her own dogs was founded.
Jo now owns 6 dogs of her own, ranging from a young home bred miniature poodle in training to a 12 year old naughty but nice terrier.
Jo has successfully trained her dogs across many disciplines including Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Schemes and sporting games such as competitive agility - this is where Jo's passion lies and she is currently very successfully competing her dogs Elmo, Fly and Tattie at both Kennel Club and UK Agility competitions, with youngster Bambi starting training for her competition career. 

Jo is an Absolute Dogs certified Pro Dog Trainer and uses only positive, games based, concept training and positive handling techniques with any dog she works with, using interactive play and concept training Jo promises to help you build unbreakable bonds with your dog whilst providing them with fun, cognitive stimulation, exercise and fitness.
